Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim (بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم )
As Salaamu Alaikum wa Rahmatulhi wa barakatuhu
1. Abdullah asked the Prophet Muhammad
(SAW) "Which deed is the dearest to Allah?" He replied, "To
offer the prayers at their early stated fixed times." (Sahih al-Bukhari
527).
2.
Sunnah mu'akkadah or "confirmed sunnah" prayers, which Prophet
Muhammad (PBUH) continuously performed and almost never abandoned (according to
tradition). These include, 2 rakats before Fajr, 4 rakats before Zuhr and 2 after, 2 rakats after
Maghrib, 2 rakats after Isha.

A Hadith
reported by Abu Hurayrah from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah
be upon him): Whoever glorifies Allah (says Subhaan Allah) thirty-three times
immediately after each prayer, and praises Allah (says Al-hamdu Lillaah)
thirty-three times, and magnifies Allah (says Allah-hu akbar) thirty-three
times, this makes ninety-nine, then to complete one hundred says Laa ilaaha
ill-Allaah wahdahu laa shareeka lahu, lahul-mulk wa lahul-hamd wa huwa ala
kulli shayin qadeer (There is no god except Allah Alone, with no partner, His
is the power and His is the praise, and He is Able to do all things) his sins
will be forgiven even if they are like the foam of the sea. (Sahih Muslim,
939).
4. Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be
pleased with him) said: A man came to the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah
be upon him) and said: O Messenger of Allah, I was stung by a scorpion last
night. He said: “If you had said, when evening came, ‘A’oodhu bi kalimaat
Allaah al-taammah min sharri ma khalaq (I seek refuge in the perfect words of
Allah from the evil of that which He has created)’, it would not have harmed
you.” Narrated by Muslim (2709).

“And say:
‘My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was young.’”
[Al-Isra 17:24]. Shaykh Ibn Sa’di (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “This
means, pray for mercy for them, when they are alive and after they die.”
(Tafsir al-Sa’di, p. 524)

Abu Darda
reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “No
Muslim servant supplicates for his brother behind his back but that the angel
says: And for you the same.” - (Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2732)

Narrated
Ibn `Abbas: The Prophet (ﷺ) narrating about his Lord I'm and said, "Allah
ordered (the appointed angels over you) that the good and the bad deeds be
written, and He then showed (the way) how (to write). If somebody intends to do
a good deed and he does not do it, then Allah will write for him a full good
deed (in his account with Him); and if he intends to do a good deed and
actually did it, then Allah will write for him (in his account) with Him (its
reward equal) from ten to seven hundred times to many more times: and if
somebody intended to do a bad deed and he does not do it, then Allah will write
a full good deed (in his account) with Him, and if he intended to do it (a bad
deed) and actually did it, then Allah will write one bad deed (in his account)
." Sahih Bukhari 6491

9. Abdullah (b. Mas'ud) reported: He
who likes to meet Allah tomorrow as Muslim, he should persevere in observing
these prayers, when a call is announced for them, for Allah has laid down for
your Prophet the paths of right guidance, and these (prayers) are among the
paths of right guidance. If you were to pray in your houses as this man why
stays away (from the mosque) prays in his house, you would abandon the practice
of your Prophet, and if you were to abandon the practice of your Prophet, you
would go astray. No man purifies himself, doing it well, then makes for one of
those mosques without Allah recording a blessing for him for every step he
takes raising him a degree for it, and effacing a sin from him for it. I have
seen the time when no one stayed away from it, except a hypocrite, who was well
known for his hypocrisy, whereas a man would be brought swaying (due to
weakness) between two men till he was set up in a row. – (Sahih Muslim 654b)
10. “O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey
the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over
anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah
and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result.” Surah An-Nisa
4:59. This shows the importance of reading and understanding the Quran and
Hadith.
11. Recite the Quran, for on the Day
of Resurrection it will come as an intercessor for its reciters. - (Sahih
Muslim 804).
Narrated Abu Musa: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, 'The example of a believer who recites
the Qur'an is that of a citron (a citrus fruit) which is good in taste and good
in smell. And the believer who does not recite the Qur'an is like a date which
has a good taste but no smell..” Sahih al-Bukhari 7560
12. Whoever travels a path in search
of knowledge, Allah makes easy for him a path to Paradise.- (Sahih Muslim 2699).
13. Abu Huraira reported: The
Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever sends
blessings upon me once, Allah send blessings upon him ten times.”- (Ṣaḥīḥ
Muslim 408)
14. Narrated by Abu Huraira: Allah's
Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whoever says, 'Subhan Allah wa bihamdihi,' one
hundred times a day, will be forgiven all his sins even if they were as much as
the foam of the sea.- Sahih al-Bukhari 6405
15. Narrated by `Adi bin Hatim heard
the Prophet (ﷺ) saying: "Save yourself from Hell-fire even by giving half
a date-fruit in charity."- Sahih al-Bukhari 1417.
16. When reflecting on death there
are many surahs in the Quran that will make you contemplate; here is one:
"On the Day when every soul will be confronted with all the good it has
done, and all the evil it has done, it will wish there were a great distance
between it and its evil. But Allah cautions you (To remember) Himself. And
Allah is full of kindness to those that serve Him." - Surah Imran Ayah 30.
17. Narrated Abu Hurairah that the
Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Indeed there is a Surah in the Qur’an of thirty Ayat, which
intercedes for a man until he is forgiven. It is [Surah] Tabarak Alladhi
Biyadihil-Mulk.” Abu Dawud 1400 and At Tirmidhi 2891 Grade: Hasan (Darussalam)
18.
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him,
said, “Whoever retired for the night in a state of purity, an angel will reside
with him in his bed. He will not awaken for an hour in the night but that the
angel says: O Allah, forgive this servant of yours, for he retired in a state
of purity.” Source: al-Da’wāt al-Kabīr 358 Grade: Hasan (fair) according to
Al-Albani

20. Abu Huraira reported Allah's
Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: Allah the Exalted and Majestic said: Every act of the
son of Adam is for him, except fasting. It is (exclusively) meant for Me and I
(alone) will reward it. Fasting is a shield. When any one of you is fasting on
a day, he should neither indulge in obscene language, nor raise the voice; or
if anyone reviles him or tries to quarrel with him he should say: I am a person
fasting. By Him, in Whose Hand is the life of Muhammad, the breath of the
observer of fast is sweeter to Allah on the Day of judgment than the fragrance
of musk. The one who fasts has two (occasions) of joy, one when he breaks the
fast he is glad with the breaking of (the fast) and one when he meets his Lord
he is glad with his fast. - Sahih Muslim 1151d
21. Narrated Aisha: The Prophet (ﷺ)
said, "Such a person as recites the Qur'an and masters it by heart, will
be with the noble righteous scribes (in Heaven). And such a person exerts
himself to learn the Qur'an by heart, and recites it with great difficulty,
will have a double reward." Sahih Bukhari 4937
22. Abdullah ibn Mas’ud reported: The
Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever recites a
letter from the Book of Allah, he will receive one good deed as ten good deeds
like it. I do not say that Alif Lam Mim is one letter, but rather Alif is a
letter, Lam is a letter, and Mim is a letter.” Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 2910
Grade: Sahih (authentic) according to Al-Arna’ut
'Abdullah b. 'Amr (Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Messenger of Allah
(ﷺ) said to me: Recite the whole of the Quran during every month. I said: I
find power (to recite it) in a shorter period. He said: Then recite it in
twenty nights. I said: I find power (to recite it in a shorter period even than
this), whereupon he said: Then recite it in seven (nights) and do not exceed
beyond it. - Sahih Muslim 1159d
23. Miqdam bin Madikarib said: “I
heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: ‘A human being fills no worse vessel than
his stomach. It is sufficient for a human being to eat a few mouthfuls to keep
his spine straight. But if he must (fill it), then one third of food, one third
for drink and one third for air.’” Grade: Sahih (Darussalam) Reference: Sunan
Ibn Majah 3349
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "A Muslim eats in one
intestine (i.e. he is satisfied with a little food) while a Kafir (unbeliever)
eats in seven intestines (eats much). Sahih Bukhari 5396
24. Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's
Messenger (ﷺ) said: "Whoever establishes prayers during the nights of
Ramadan faithfully out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah's rewards
(not for showing off), all his past sins will be forgiven." - Sahih
al-Bukhari 37
I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying regarding Ramadan, "Whoever prayed at
night in it (the month of Ramadan) out of sincere Faith and hoping for a reward
from Allah, then all his previous sins will be forgiven." - Sahih Bukhari
2008.
25. Narrated `Aisha: Allah's
Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Search for the Night of Qadr in the odd nights of the
last ten days of Ramadan." Sahih al-Bukhari 2017
26. “Therefore remember Me, I will
remember you, and be thankful to Me, and do not be ungrateful to Me.” Quran:
Surah Al-Baqarah Ayah 152.
“And when My servants ask you concerning Me, then surely I am very near; I
answer the prayer of the suppliant when he calls on Me, so they should answer
My call and believe in Me that they may walk in the right way.” Quran: Surah
Al- Baqarah Ayah 186.
“Then as for those who believe in Allah and hold fast by Him, He will cause
them to enter into His mercy and grace and guide them to Himself on a right
path.” Quran: Surah An-Nisa Ayah 175.
27. Abu Dharr reported: The Apostle
of Allah (ﷺ) said: The deeds of my people, good and bad, were presented before
me, and I found the removal of something objectionable from the road among
their good deeds, and the sputum mucus left unburied in the mosque among their
evil deeds. - Sahih Muslim 553
28. From Abu Sa’id al-Khudri, who
said: “Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on the night of Jumu’ah , will have a light
that will stretch between him and the Ancient House (the Ka’bah).” (Narrated by
al-Darimi, 3407. This hadith was classed as sahih by Shaykh al-Albani in Sahih
al-Jami’, 6471)
29. Narrated Hudhaifa: Whenever the
Prophet (ﷺ) got up for Tahajjud prayer he used to clean his mouth (and teeth)
with Siwak. Sahih al-Bukhari 1136
Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) (p.b.u.h) said, "Our Lord, the
Blessed, the Superior, comes every night down on the nearest Heaven to us when
the last third of the night remains, saying: "Is there anyone to invoke
Me, so that I may respond to invocation? Is there anyone to ask Me, so that I
may grant him his request? Is there anyone seeking My forgiveness, so that I
may forgive him? - Sahih al-Bukhari 1145
Narrated Aisha: With the start of the last ten days of Ramadan, the Prophet (ﷺ)
used to tighten his waist belt (i.e. work hard) and used to pray all the night,
and used to keep his family awake for the prayers. Sahih al-Bukhari 2024
30. Narrated `Aisha: The
Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The most hated person in the sight of Allah is the most
quarrelsome person." - Sahih al-Bukhari 2457
“O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some
assumption is sin. And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like
to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah;
indeed, Allah is Accepting of Repentance and Merciful.” – Quran: Surah
Al-hujurat Ayah 12.
